The story of computing spans centuries. Women gave birth to computing. It came of age during the lamentations of World War II and the Cold War. Computing matured in the subsequent economic rise and counter culture shift. Now, it has woven itself into the very fabric of civilization, having draped itself across all of humanity.
And, we have just begun.
